Low Carb and Lovin' It!

About 3 years ago I did this crazy, hard to stick to diet. "The Maker's Diet" It was a great way for me to learn more about nutrion, the way the Bible views it. However, it is totally impossible to maintain. the one thing I did take with me, that is maintanable, is eating low processed carbs. Eat as much fruit, veggies, and natural sugar as you want. But, stay away from anything processed. So, for a normal day's food, here goes:

Snack before workout: banana, 1 cup organic skim milk, coffee and honey
breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 Mango Sausage, 1 slice lite cheese
Snack: Lots of grapes and sometimes a cliff bar
Lunch: Salad- lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, lite cheese, some type of organic dressnig and greek yogurt
snack: 2 small apples with almond butter
Dinner: Chicken breast, brocoli, teriyaki sauce
dessert: 1 1/2 cups chocolate milk

For me, eating like this helps me loose weight, then maintain it. And also feel really good about myself. By limiting my procesed food, I'm not bloated, and I have a little more energy. Im also eating a ton of fruits and vegetables. So my body feels happy with all the nutrients Im giving it.

I now have a blog

I have never thought about blogging before. Why? I don't know. Maybe because I already was on MySpace and facebook and felt too connected then. Well, delete MySpace add blog. It's just how I roll. Well then the question is, what should I blog about? FOOD! that's the easiest question I have ever been asked!
I love everything about food. The sight, smell, texture, aroma, size, color, shape, origin, and the taste. And, Im going to write about it.
